IAO/BR TITA - TITANIUM GOLD REFINING TUMBLER

DESCRIPTION

This compact system consists of:

• Polypropylene frame and steel frame.
• The steel parts are painted with an acid resistant coating designed to provide long-lasting, tough resistance to chemicals.
• Titanium tumbler inclined to 25°, continuously rotating.
• Pyrex glass condenser with internal circulation of cooling water - guarantees acid recovery and vapour condensation.
• HNO₃ and HCl storage tanks on a PP capture tray - acids are sent to the tumbler by gravity.
• Precipitation tank with stirrer and with filter trolleys.

 On request, the Titanium series can be equipped with heating resistances or infrared to heat the solution up to 100 °C, speeding up reaction times.

 Thanks to these innovative solutions, the Gold Refining units with Titanium tumblers offer the following advantages:

• High flexibility thanks to the possibility to refine both by aqua regia and by inquartation with nitric acid (for alloy with more than 20% of Ag and max. 25% of Au).
• Reduction of reaction time, thanks to the possibility using the heaters to reach the boiling temperature of the solution.
• Long-lasting life: Titanium is one of the strongest materials. It does not suffer thermal shocks (like glass), nor can it be scratched by gold flakes (like PPL).
• Easy maintenance and cleaning, thanks to the absence of internal scratches.
