FIM/Pt is a manual furnace with a very high energy density designed to melt Platinum and Palladium with the use of special crucibles.

It is equipped with an allocation mechanism between the mold and the furnace that allows the direct overturning of the molten metal inside the mold.


Main characteristics

  • The highest technical standards used to design the inductors along with the modular construction and the use of only high-quality materials guarantee maximum production even in the worst conditions.
  • The converter is fitted with a centrifugal pump to recycle cooling water, fitted with a pressostat and a timer to automatically stop the pump. You require only a storage tank for demineralised water or a water-cooling plant.
  • Display monitoring of the working parameters of the converter.
  • Computerised alarm diagnostics for as many as 12 alarms or warnings which the worker must take note of for the system to work properly.
  • Closed ring power regulation which allows the system to absorb the set power regardless of the quantity and type of metal to melt.
  • The internal environment of the convertor is conditioned by an air-water exchanger
