Deoxidation Furnaces Type FD


These furnaces are used to prevent surface oxidation on items during annealing operations and to deoxidise finished products. They ensure uniform thermal treatments. Thanks to the use of a protective gas, the items come out deoxidised and bright. A stainless steel water tank for rapid cooling operations is also included; by means of a manually operated or automatic lifting device, the items can be immersed in to this tank. The furnace is also fitted with a patented cooling chamber, entirely built in stainless steel, which prevents condensate from dripping onto the items during the treatment. An electronic timer counts down the deoxidation time only after the metal inside as reached the preset temperature. The muffle is made out of AISI 310S of a thickness of 6 and 4 mm, fitted with a loading door. There is also a gas burner with a safety device.

The furnace is a thermal treatment centre for the finishing of all articles made out of a gold alloy. It improves the uniformity of the colour and obtains shinier pieces. The muffle is made out of AISI 310S of a thickness of 6 and 4 mm, fitted with a loading door. There is also a gas burner with a safety device and two closing gates to separate the two heating zones.The furnace has been designed to reduce annealing and deoxidation times by 50 %. 5 kgs of finished products can be treated every 20 minutes.
